Whirlpool bath repairs
Whirlpool express has 30 years of experience building and repairing whirlpool baths. We have a comprehensive stockholding of older parts and are able economically repair most baths with original parts or compatible parts which saves a lot of money in terms of labour. Many "Whirlpool bath repair" companies are individuals with limited access to parts, usually from one or two suppliers which means that they have to adapt your pipework to accommodate the parts they can supply, which costs more in terms of labour and parts. In most cases, when supplying genuine or compatible parts, the repair can be under taken by a local plumber or even a keen competent handyman which saves a lot of money in terms of callout.
Our callout charges range from £45.00 to £120.00 depending on the speed of response required. Our labour charges are £60.00 an hour. Parts are charged as per our website. The callout charge is charged at the time of booking.
Callout charges and time on site can be kept to a minimum by providing us with detailed photographs of the problem. If it is a pump we need to see a photograph of the wet end(pump) showing the threads. On the motor will be the technical details which we also need to see. Similarly if there is an Air blower mounted to the bath, we need to know the size of the outlet spigot from the blower and a picture of the technical plate on the blower. There are several types of blower which have been in the market place, as a manufacturer of whirlpool baths.
There are some European parts/pumps which we do not supply. This will be because the parts/pumps have known reliability issues which would result in a further premature failure.
Because of the recession, there are a lot of imported Chinese baths in the country. These whirlpool baths have a short life compared to European manufactured product. We do not supply genuine parts for any Chinese baths as they prove very difficult to get hold of. If the Electronics fail, it will usually be a case of replacing the control system with European controls which have a similar function. Likewise, the pumps have a similar reputation and can be replaced with compatible European pumps, which although more expensive to purchase, should prove cheaper in the long term as they will last many years. If the chrome fails on the jets and controls, they can not be re-chromed and it is usually better to have them colour plated to match the bath.
Jacuzzi® is a registered trademark that is commonly misused to describe any whirlpool bath. If you have a genuine Jacuzzi® bath it will have a plate with Jacuzzi® on it. We can supply compatible replacement controls for most Pneumatic Jacuzzi® baths. We also offer a service to replace Jacuzzxi® pumps which are no longer available with another manufacturer's pump with purpose built pipework so that it will adapt directly to your exisiting pipework. This is done at a very competitive price and in many cases works out at a cheaper cost that the original pump. If you have a genuine Jacuzzi® bath, enquiries for parts such as jet covers, pumps and electronics, should be made initially to Jacuzzi® UK - the Jacuzzi® UK after-sales team is available on 0113 2727430
Airbath ceased trading some years ago, but there are a lot of baths in the market place. The trading style and bath forms have been bought by a major UK company, but they have yet to start manufacturing. The common failure on older Airbaths is the control system and the blower. We are no longer able to supply this control system as stocks have exhausted. We can however supply a compatible control system which will give you most of the functions with the exception of the hot water induction into the airstream which is rarely used by most owners.
Harold Moore Ceased trading a few years ago too. Harold Moore Baths were manufactured to a very high quality and are well worth repairing when the pump, blower or electronics wear out. Again we need a picture of the parts that you already have.
B&Q whirlpool baths. We stock most replacement parts for these baths, particularly the wastes, if you can't identify the parts on our website, please send us a picture of the part you require.
Remember, For most situations the repair or replacement work involved is not complicated when using the correct parts and can be undertaken by most plumbers or competent handymen at minimal costs. We are a long standing bricks and mortar company with people on the end of a phone who can guide your installer through the necessary diagnosis and work.
